تأثیر مصرف ارده بر کیفیت خواب بیماران مبتلا به سرطان پستان تحت پرتودرمانی-کارآزمایی تصادفی کنترل شده – مطالعه پایلوت

سابقه و هدف: مشکلات خواب از عوارض شایع در بیماران مبتلا به سرطان پستان تحت پرتودرمانی می‌باشد. بنابراین، این مطالعه با هدف بررسی اثر دریافت ارده بر روی کیفیت خواب بیماران مبتلا به سرطان پستان تحت پرتودرمانی انجام شد.
مواد و روشها: 48 زن مبتلا به سرطان پستان تحت پرتودرمانی به طور تصادفی به دو گروه مداخله و کنترل تقسیم شدند. بیماران گروه مداخله روزانه 48 گرم ارده از شروع تا انتهای پرتودرمانی (5 هفته) دریافت کردند. در ابتدا و انتهای پرتودرمانی پرسشنامه PSQI
 (Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index) توسط شرکت کنندگان تکمیل گردید. برای آنالیز داده‌ها از آزمون‌های Chi-square، t-test،Mann-Whitney ، Wilcoxon و Binary logistic regression استفاده شد.
یافتهها: میانگین و انحراف معیار سنی افراد شرکت کننده 65/10± 97/47 بود. 50% بیماران گروه ارده و 8/80% بیماران گروه کنترل در انتهای مطالعه کیفیت خواب نامطلوبی داشتند (02/0 =P). مصرف ارده به طور معنی‌داری نمره کلی کیفیت خواب را در مقایسه با گروه کنترل بهبود بخشید (006/0=P). بین دو گروه تفاوت معنی‌داری در بیشتر مقیاس‌ها شامل کیفیت ذهنی خواب (008/0 =P)، تأخیر در به خواب رفتن (01/0=P)، مدت زمان خواب (003/0=P) و اختلالات خواب (05/0=P) مشاهده گردید. همچنین میانگین تغییرات مقیاس اختلالات خواب، بین دو گروه تفاوت آماری معنی‌داری نشان داد (002/0=P). در گروه مداخله نسبت به گروه کنترل، نسبت شانس برای مقیاس‌های کیفیت ذهنی خواب (01/0=P)، تأخیر در به خواب رفتن (01/0=P)، مدت زمان خواب (006/0=P)، اختلالات خواب (04/0=P) و نمره کلی کیفیت خواب (007/0=P) کمتر می‌باشد.
نتیجه گیری: این یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که مصرف ارده طی پرتودرمانی می‌تواند کیفیت خواب بیماران مبتلا به سرطان پستان را افزایش دهد.
